Attend one of our Member Information sessions
Information sessions are usually held once a month by Atlanta Shared Kitchen staff. Email us at feedinfo@feedkitchens.org to request information or to let us know you are interested in attending a session.

There are two versions, one for casual members who will only use the Kitchen for special projects or occasions, and a second for non-profits using Atlanta Shared Kitchen for work they are doing or for the individuals operating new or existing food businesses such as caterers, food carts, product developers, and those selling wholesale or to the public directly. Atlanta Shared Kitchen can assist in helping create your new business type (LLC, or S. Corp) as well as getting your F.E.I.N. , Georgia Sales Tax Number, County and State Licenses and Food Corridor Account Set Up.
The charge for this service is $650 and is Non-Refundable
**This does not include any fees to be paid directly to the state for your LLC ($125) or your or Dept. of Agriculture License ($350)

Once You Get Your License -
We will then sit down and discuss exactly what your needs are as we develop a customized proposal based on your specific business goals for both now and in the future.
* If you have not applied for your license within 60 days of Signing up, you will be charged a $150/ monthly fee to hold you space for up to 6 months. After 6 months you will need to re-apply to ATLANTA SHARED KITCHEN.

You must have with you at all times while you are in the kitchen a copy of your Nationally Recognized Food Safety Managers Certification (i.e. ServSafe or NRFSP)
You must always have you or one of your staff as a licensed food manager on site while you are producing anything. Any additional staff members must also have a minimum of a Food Handler Certificate (or have it within the first 30 days of employment or starting in the Atlanta Shared Kitchen)
You must have current copies of all necessary permits and licenses, with you at all times . As a convenience, You will also upload all of your needed documents to The Food Corridor (our back office software company) to ensure compliance as well as being reminded when your documents are getting ready to expire. The Food Corridor will notify us both as the expiration time approach
As a new Member to Atlanta Shared Kitchen. you must successfully complete the kitchen user’s orientation session and tour of the kitchen facilities. During this kitchen tour you will receive a copy of our Kitchen Client Pack which contains our Policies and Procedures as well as the Atlanta Shared Kitchen Operations Agreement.
